Important safety information

Please read before use

Not for consumption Our products are not for human consumption. Once melted, contents will be hot — use protective gloves and do not allow them to contact skin.
Microwave clearance Check your pouch has 1–2cm clearance between the top of the pouch and the inside roof of your microwave to prevent it from falling over.
Keep away from children & pets Keep out of reach of children and pets at all times — both during the making process and when the candle is burning.
Pregnancy Some essential oils are not recommended for use during pregnancy. Please consult your healthcare professional before lighting your candle.
Burn time Never leave a lit candle unattended. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Stop using your candle when approximately 1cm of wax remains.
Fire safety Burn on a fire-safe surface only. Do not burn near anything flammable. When burning multiple candles, keep them at least 8cm apart.
Step by step

How to make your candle

1

Melt the wax

Remove everything from the bag except the wax. Place on a microwaveable dish and heat for 2 minutes until fully melted. If not fully melted, continue in 10-second intervals. No microwave? Place the bag open-side up in a pot of boiling water for 3–5 minutes.

2

Prepare your jar

Remove the sticker pad cover, place the wick in the centre of your chosen jar and secure it in place using the wick holder. Make sure the jar is clean, dry, and heat-resistant.

3

Pour & set

Once the wax is ready, pour it into your jar and allow it to set for a minimum of 3 hours. Overnight is preferred if you can wait — but 3 hours is usually enough.

4

Trim, light & enjoy

Remove the wick holder and trim the wick to approximately 1cm. Don't forget to attach the enclosed safety label to your candle. Light and enjoy!

Pro tips

Get the most from every burn

First burn

Let it pool fully

On your first burn, let the entire surface of the wax melt before extinguishing. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn every time after.

Wick care

Trim before every use

Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 1cm for a cleaner, more even burn. A range of wick trimmers are available in our online store.

Choosing a jar

What works best

Use any clean glass jar that won't leak, crack, or catch fire. Avoid plastics, wood, and anything flammable. For a single wick, we recommend a jar around 8cm in diameter. Need a bigger jar? Contact us for a free extra wick.
