From ingredients to jar sizes, we've covered the questions we hear most. If something's missing, we're always happy to help.
Contact us →We've got a new take on the traditional candle. We love candles (some might say obsessed), and would accumulate stacks of used jars which would get sent to the recycling centre once in a while.
This gave us the idea of the Pourable Candle. You buy the pouch, melt it in the microwave and pour the melted wax into a jar you have from previously used candles. We're all about reducing waste — if you're anything like us, you'll drastically reduce the amount of waste from your candle obsession.
Our candles consist of soy wax infused with pure essential oils in a 100% recyclable bag, ready for you to pour. You'll also find a wick, wick holder and safety label included — everything you need to start pouring.
Remove everything from the bag except the wax.
Place the bag on a microwaveable dish and microwave for 2 minutes, until all the wax is melted. Tip: if the wax isn't fully melted, continue in 10-second intervals until done.
Remove the sticker pad cover, place the wick in the centre of your chosen candle jar and secure it using the wick holder.
Once the wax is ready, pour it into the vessel and allow it to set for a minimum of 3 hours.
Remove the wick holder, trim the wick to approx. 1cm, light and enjoy. Don't forget to attach the enclosed safety label to the candle.
The possibilities are endless — however, we recommend something that will not leak, crack, or catch fire. Avoid plastics, wood, and anything flammable.
For a single wick candle, we recommend a container with a diameter of around 8cm. If you're using a larger or irregularly shaped container, you'll likely need an additional wick. Contact us as soon as you place your order and we'll add an extra one for free.
No problem. Place the bag open-side up in a pot of boiling water until the wax has fully melted (approximately 3–5 minutes). Make sure the wax and water don't come into contact.
Our candles are made with soy blended wax and 100% pure essential oils — no synthetic fragrances, no toxins, no fillers. Just the good stuff.
Our bags are 100% recyclable as code 4. Please check with your local authority on how to recycle these in your area if you're unsure.
Each Pourable refill burns up to 50% longer than a standard paraffin candle of the same size. Most customers find one refill lasts several weeks of regular evening use.
Absolutely. You save money in the long run by reusing your jars, you get to customise your scent, and you'll enjoy the satisfaction of making your own candle. Our customers consistently say they're better than traditional candles — and every single review is five stars.
